Linking To Technorati

Just trying to link the CORTEX into Technorati. This is a social networking site that tracks activity across millions of blogs. I think that this sort of technology is going to help corporations and individuals track their online reputations so that they can quickly respond to negative postings.

New Tool Polestar and 'Old' Swivel

The recent Business Objects APAC Insight conference talked a lot about the power of combining unstructured and structured data. Of course they backed this up with a 'sell' message of how BOBJ makes all this easy to use. It isn't, but they are coming out with some cool tools. Now Polestar is one of these. This tool should be shipping by year-end and it combines a simple search function with the more traditional BOBJ reporting capabilities we know and love from Deski and Webi.
