![]() | A few months ago I came across a beautiful black & white independent short film by Canadian director Arev Manoukian titled “Nuit Blanche” (“White Night” in english). The movie is a great illustration of the technical resources being made available to indie filmakers. In brief the movie was shot entirely infront of a green screen with the principal photography completed in 4 days. After which 8 months was spent constructing the visually impressive digital effects. Today I came across the “Making of Nuit Blanche” clip which provides a great insight into the special effect construction and the level of technical detail applied to the film.
