2010 a milestone year
2010 was a milestone year for us – 15 years consulting in the digital space. So we thought, what better time than right now to carrying out a brand refresh – nothing major, something a bit more inline with our new direction.

It became more obvious to us in recent years that something needed to be done – hearing the same old thing from all walks of life; our friends, peers, business partners & clients – the rebrand had to happen, we had to make time.

Say what?
Here’s a sample of some of our favourites;
  • “…it really doesn’t represent you guys…”
  • “…so what do you guys actually do?…”
  • “…what does the logo mean?…”
  • “…who the hell writes your copy?…”
Our focus
Simplicity. So how do you make something like this both simple to do (us) and simple to understand (everyone else)? We focused on what was important and didn’t over complicate things.

The new brand

We will always have a lot to say, but this time we wanted to do it in a more direct and meaningful way with minimal effort required. After much trial and tribulation, we decided to go back to basics. The easiest way to tackle this task was for us to focus our direction and set 3 clear measurables.
  1. Style – simple & highly visual
  2. Consistency – establish a uniform experience; formats, structure and message
  3. Tone – confident yet welcoming, short and sweet
We think of the new brand as more of an evolution rather than a revolution. We look forward to hearing your feedback. Be kind…

Oh and by the way…
Our team is still in the process of finalizing everything else. Come January 2011 the rebrand launch will be official.
