Position scope

You will need to be conceptually strong and completely understand the digital experience; user interface, branding, user interaction requirements, understanding the audience type, campaign objectives & the appropriateness use of technologies.

You must have a high level of understanding of emerging web technologies with a demonstrated ability to solve design challenges for varying project requirements. The ability to be self-directed and motivated in the management and prioritizing of your workload is paramount. You must be able to perform under pressure and consistently provide and create work of the highest standard.

Software

Have a clear understanding and have advanced level knowledge of;

• Adobe Photoshop CS5
• Adobe Illustrator CS5
• Adobe Fireworks CS5
• Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional
• Adobe Flash Professional CS5
• Adobe InDesign CS5
• Adobe Media Encoder CS5
• Advanced timeline Flash animation
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Microsoft Windows 7

Experience

• Mixed online digital campaign experience – both creative & production
• Extensive Flash graphics production experience
• Extensive Web design experience (Campaigns, Websites, CMS, Intranets, Microsites, UI Design, Banners)
• HTML/CSS graphics production experience
• Knowledge of different device design & UI requirements (Mobiles, Tablets, Web)
• Client presentation experience
• Strong & varied online portfolio of known brand work within different industry sectors
• Strong verbal & written skills
• Minimum of five (5) years experience as a ‘Web and/or Digital Designer’

Working knowledge

ActionScript (2 & 3), jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML & video for web (Episode Pro / Sorenson Squeeze / QuickTime Pro)

Advantageous

• Tertiary \ equivalent qualifications (University, TAFE)
• Print production skills (Adobe InDesign + press ready artwork)
• ActionScript 2/3.0 hands-on experience
• 3D, After Effects or motion skills
• Mixed OS experience (PC & MAC)
