We’re looking for multiple experienced ASP.Net contractors to join our team

Position scope

We’re on the lookout for a talented, creative-minded individual with a real passion for web development. A great work ethic and passion to own and deliver a fantastic product are a must for this role.

You will have extensive ASP.Net experience and experience building web sites with content management systems (CMS). Web development experience with Sitecore will give you a great advantage in this role. You will be responsible for all estimation, scoping, technical design, delivery and QA on project work.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for this role.

You must have a high level of understanding of emerging web technologies with a demonstrated ability to solve technical challenges for varying project requirements. The ability to be self-directed and motivated and direct other technical team members in the management and prioritising of workload is paramount. You must be able to perform under pressure and consistently provide and create work of the highest standard.

• Be enthusiastic and passionate about web development with the Microsoft Stack
• Can work well with other team members and clients
• Can communicate effectively with a variety of people, including clients at all levels
• Can write clear-cut technical documents discussing solution objectives and requirements
• Can provide accurate effort estimation and is able to work towards estimates
• Can display working knowledge in emerging web development technologies and new products
• Is continually providing efficient, bug free and exceptional solutions and code
• Has an attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality
• Understands and can respect professional confidentiality

Key skills & experience

• Have at least 3 years industry experience in web development;
  • Expert skills in Microsoft ASP.net and MVC web technologies
  • Expert C# skills
  • Expert MS SQL Server skills
  • A thorough understanding of the concepts behind object oriented programming and several years’ experience implementing OOP concepts with ASP.Net
  • Experience working with WCM (Web content management) systems and CMS’s (Content Management Systems)
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques ASP.Net development best practices
• Have a clear understanding and advanced level knowledge of:
  • Front end web technologies; jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
  • Microsoft IIS and Apache web server technology
• Have previous experience working in product development within the web / Internet industry
• Have experience working with source control, team collaboration and project tracking systems
• Have exceptional customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

Desirable

• SiteCore, or SharePoint CMS development experience.
• Experience with RIA (Rich Internet Application) technologies like Silverlight or Flash.
• Mobile development experience
• Understanding of other back-end server technologies (JSP/ColdFusion/PHP)
• Understanding of other database technologies (MYSQL)
