| Administrator | PR News Release: Integeo launches SE Asia arm to meet regional demand for Map Intelligence Tuesday, May 26, 2009 - Integeo Location Intelligence company Integeo today announced the launch of Integeo SE Asia Pte Ltd to meet demand for map-based applications across the region. Based in Singapore, Integeo SE Asia is the regional distributor for Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines of Integeo’s Map Intelligence spatial hub. Map Intelligence is the world’s first intuitive platform for spatial application development that enables seamless interoperation between all the major Business Intelligence (BI) and mapping products. By representing report charts and tables of data within dynamic maps, plans and images, Map Intelligence allows business domain experts and C level users to quickly reveal and solve issues and target hot spots. Map Intelligence is a turnkey product that offers out-of-the-box a large range of spatial visualization and analytics. Wendy Victorino, director of Integeo SE Asia, said, “We’re excited about launching the Map Intelligence solution in Southeast Asia as it will empower business users to perform location analysis which previously could be performed only by specialists. The potential for business users to benefit from location information is significant because the ‘where’ dimension in corporate data can be turned into meaningful and actionable insights. “Map Intelligence’s ease of use and no programming features will open up opportunities for improved business processes, and therefore more sales, reduced costs and better profitability. Map Intelligence is a turnkey, award winning product that is very appealing to our region’s businesses as well as governments.” Map Intelligence has customers in a large range of sectors, ranging from US Army Recruiting throughout the United States, the Australian Fisheries Management Authority, Northern Territory Police Force and Emergency Services and the Department of Families, Housing and Community Services, through to telecommunications, real estate, marketing and retail companies. Integeo’s CEO, Peter Rossiter, said opportunities were already opening up in the region. “We got some great results working with Wendy and her team at our first region event, the Global Security Asia 2009 in Singapore,” Mr Rossiter said. “It was evident that people needed to do more than just plot points on a map and we’re very happy now to have this excellent presence in the region.” About Integeo SE Asia Integeo SE Asia Pte. Ltd. is supported by a partner network throughout the region. Its team is made up of IT Professionals with long experience and capabilities in the BI field enabling it to assist its partners in the region as well as support its clients. 3 Raffles Place #07-01 Bharat Bldg Singapore 048617 Telephone: +65-63299749 Fax: +65-63145125 About Integeo Integeo is Inte[grated] geo[graphy]. | Administrator | Rust Report Sydney-based geospatial systems developer Integeo has extended the deployment of its Map Intelligence platform for the US Army by integrating the software with Google Maps. The additional capability will be used by army recruitment officers throughout the US, explained Peter Rossiter, CEO of Integeo. Rossiter noted that a customised application developed by Integeo for the army provides thousands of users with guidance and direction for assigned tasks within the army's Graphical Accessions Mapping Analysis Tool. Now the use of the Google spatial suite provides benefits such as improved usability, reduced complexity in infrastructure management, and reduced effort in management of map data, Rossiter claimed. He added that businesses too are including spatial contexts when making business decisions. "The ability to leverage Google Maps for rendering the spatial data has become the default choice for many organisations," he said. Integeo - Home |
