Location Intelligence company Integeo today announced the launch of Integeo SE Asia Pte Ltd to meet demand for map-based applications across the region.

Based in Singapore, Integeo SE Asia is the regional distributor for Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines of Integeo’s Map Intelligence spatial hub.

Map Intelligence is the world’s first intuitive platform for spatial application development that enables seamless interoperation between all the major Business Intelligence (BI) and mapping products. By representing report charts and tables of data within dynamic maps, plans and images, Map Intelligence allows business domain experts and C level users to quickly reveal and solve issues and target hot spots. Map Intelligence is a turnkey product that offers out-of-the-box a large range of spatial visualization and analytics.

Australian spatial business intelligence pioneer Integeo has entered an agreement with Integeo China Pty Ltd that entitles Integeo China to promote, distribute and support Integeo’s Map Intelligence platform in greater China. Integeo China has responsibility for Chinese translation and quality assurance for Map Intelligence running on Chinese operating systems using Chinese maps.

Integeo China is well advanced in developing its channel in China and already has several partners with early customer deployments of Map Intelligence in areas such as Telecommunications, Emergency Management, Government, Petroleum and Gas.

“We see China as a huge potential market for our product and are very pleased to be taking this next strategic step into the Chinese market,” said Integeo CEO Peter Rossiter. “We have put in a lot of effort working towards this goal over several years with Integeo China’s CEO, Dr Chuan Zhang, and the feedback we’ve received from the region has been very positive.”

Sydney-based geospatial systems developer Integeo has extended the deployment of its Map Intelligence platform for the US Army by integrating the software with Google Maps. The additional capability will be used by army recruitment officers throughout the US, explained Peter Rossiter, CEO of Integeo.

Rossiter noted that a customised application developed by Integeo for the army provides thousands of users with guidance and direction for assigned tasks within the army's Graphical Accessions Mapping Analysis Tool. Now the use of the Google spatial suite provides benefits such as improved usability, reduced complexity in infrastructure management, and reduced effort in management of map data, Rossiter claimed.

He added that businesses too are including spatial contexts when making business decisions. "The ability to leverage Google Maps for rendering the spatial data has become the default choice for many organisations," he said. Integeo - Home
