Sydney software provider adds business performance tools Zavanti strikes a new partnership with Corda Technologies

Sydney-based software applications distributor, Zavanti, has inked a deal with data virtualisation and dashboard vendor, Corda Technologies.

The US-based vendor's CentreView software application produces graphical dashboards from any data source and allows users to incorporate data from other applications such as an Excel database. Zavanti chairman, Ian Plater, said his goals for Corda were to incorporate it into its other product offerings and to target customers looking for a broad-based business information tool.

Zavanti provides software for financial management, contract management and ERP. The company will look at bundling Corda into its ERP offering, he said.

"One of our core products is a complete ERP system for the property industry," Plater said. "Corda will enable us to revamp the look of key reporting that our clients would use internally."

Zavanti's core clients reside in the property development, building and construction industry. Plater said he would aim the new range at large corporate organisations and claimed it was a cheaper alternative to competing business intelligence tools in the market.

Reseller incentives include training, assistance with marketing campaigns and client demonstrations, Plater said. In other news, the distributor is looking to expand overseas and has its sights set on the UK. Zavanti has one other office in New Zealand.

"Our offerings really suit the UK market and the timing is right from our perspective," Plater said. "We've got a couple of reseller agreements in the UK that we'll have closed off in the next couple of weeks."
