 |  SQL Server Conference Inside Scoop What’s the weather like on Las Vegas? Who knows?! The place to be is inside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino at the SQL Server conference is taking place. The Microsoft booth has seen a steady stream of traffic and a question that keeps coming up is “when is SQL Server 2008 R2 being launched?” Pretty great that people are excited! This morning, SQL Server Magazine caught up with Donald Farmer, who is a presenter at the conference. Tweeters sent their questions to @SQLServerMag – check out the stream of questions and answers. There were a lot of PowerPivot questions and his final thought from all the questions was “There is something for everyone in #SQLR2. Whether you are new to SQL Server or an experienced user.” If your schedule didn’t permit you to attend this event, you can catch some interviews with the SQL Server team at the DevConnections website.
