Microsoft has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Data Warehouse Database Management Systems (Gartner, Inc., January 28, 2010).

The Magic Quadrants depict Gartner's analysis of how Data Warehouse (DW) DBMS vendors measure against specific criteria within the marketplace. Microsoft takes Gartner’s findings as further indication that the company is delivering on its commitment to provide full, competitive and comprehensive DW solution.
