 |  Comment on The Analyst?s New Confusion by Carlo Daffara One example would be Groundwork Open Source. It is basically Nagios with a (basic) frontend. It misses every kind of server monitoring, only has “ping” as data source, only very basic discovery (that “basically” does not discover anything at all), no email notifications.
