Just came across the awesome Gephi open graph visualisation software below thanks to an article on the O'Reilly Radar, which looks like a must-install for any analyst.

Gehpi is a free open-source interactive data visualisation and exploration platform for all kinds of networks and complex systems, dynamic and hierarchical graphs such as free text analysis and social networks (and it runs on Windows, Mac and Linux).
