| Administrator | Can anyone figure out where they got he name 'Polestar'. A pole star is a visible star that is approximately aligned with the Earth's axis of rotation; - Wikipedia What has this got to do with a search tool ? Are we running out of product names for our ever increasing range of tools. Whats wrong with eSearch or even iSearch or perhaps mySearch. |

| Member | The Pole Star was used for centurues to navigate at sea as its position in the sky hardly changes. As such it sounds like a pretty good name for the product.

Imagine the warning label on the wrapping.... 'This product can only be used in the Northern Hemisphere by Business Objects users after 9.00pm. For Southern Hemisphere customers please refer to our product brochure on our other product - 'Southern Cross'.
