Default Mini SAP

Does anyone have any experience with the low end market version of SAP? I know it is not really SAP (was it originally another software product from a competitor that they purchased?) but have they rolled any of there smarts into this product and do they support it properly in Australia?

Does anyone know where I can get any further information (apart from SAP itself)?

SMEs using BI to streamline processes

- May 19 2009, 23:49 PM

Small and medium-sized enterprises are using the economic downturn to streamline their inefficient processes through the implementation of technology.

That is according to the enterprise software provider SAP, which urged organisations to reduce their errors through the purchase of business intelligence systems.

Outlining the benefits that this software could bring to companies, the application developer identified that it would cut operational costs, improve efficiencies and profitability, while also eliminating errors and duplications.

Writing for IT Brief, Graeme Riley, SAP's New Zealand manager, suggested that the introduction of this software could provide businesses with a "foundation for success".

He wrote: "With careful IT investments, you can position your company for recovery and achieve sustainable growth."

Earlier this month, SAP revealed that it hoped the general release of its latest flagship business intelligence application would increase its yearly revenues for 2009.
